Professional Educational Program: “Educator”
Awarded Qualification: Higher Vocational Qualification in Preschool Education
Objective: The goal of the professional educational program “Educator” is to train qualified specialists capable of caring for, educating, and supporting the development of children in early childhood and preschool age. Educators are expected to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate educational environment and, in the process, communicate effectively with the child’s family, the preschool or early childhood education staff, sector representatives, and take responsibility for their own professional development.
Admission Requirements: Full general education
Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of the program, graduates can be employed as educators or work independently as self-employed preschool educators.

Program Volume
The program comprises 116 credits, of which:

105 credits are mandatory sector-specific professional modules
-
11 credits are mandatory general modules
Note: The program volume differs for Georgian-speaking and non-Georgian-speaking students.
For fifth-level “Educator” program students who do not have verified Georgian language competence, completion of Georgian Language A2 and B1 modules is mandatory. In this case, the total program volume is 146 credits.
To be awarded a Higher Vocational Qualification in Preschool Education, students must complete:

116 credits for those with Georgian language competence

146 credits for those without verified Georgian language competence
